Please read these terms carefully before using the IGNITE 2026 competition platform.

1. Introduction
Welcome to IGNITE 2026, Basico's internal fitness competition platform. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and participation in the competition. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
To participate in IGNITE 2026, you must:
- Be an active employee of Basico
- Have a valid Basico email address
- Agree to these Terms of Use
3. Competition Rules
3.1 Activity Tracking
- Activities must be legitimate physical exercises
- All activities are tracked through Strava integration or manual entry
- Falsified activities will result in disqualification
- Team activities earn bonus points
3.2 Team Formation
- Teams are formed across departments and levels
- Team assignments are managed by administrators
- Teams compete in weekly pools with promotions/relegations
4. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process the following data:
- Personal information (name, email, department, job title)
- Activity data from Strava integration
- Manual activity entries
- Team assignments and competition results
All data is processed in accordance with Basico's privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. Data is used solely for competition purposes and internal team building activities.
5. Strava Integration
Our platform integrates with Strava to automatically track your physical activities. By connecting your Strava account:
- You authorize us to access your Strava activity data
- Activity data will be used for competition scoring
- You can disconnect your Strava account at any time
- Strava's own terms and privacy policy also apply
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Falsifying or manipulating activity data
- Creating fake accounts or profiles
- Attempting to hack or compromise the platform
- Sharing inappropriate or offensive content
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
7. Disclaimers
The IGNITE 2026 platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Basico does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access to the platform
- Accuracy of activity tracking data
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
- Results or outcomes of the competition
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basico shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in the competition.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform if you:
- Violate these Terms of Use
- Engage in prohibited activities
- No longer meet eligibility requirements
- Request account deletion
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law
